World Cup: CSI5* in Gothenburg underway

The last stage of the World Cup ahead of the final in Lyon began yesterday with the CSI5* in Gothenburg.
The day’s events got going in the young riders category with two competitions, starting with the Future Winners from 1.35m trial and the Kraft Young Rider Cup from 1.40m, which were both national competitions.
Today’s events begin with a competition reserved to young horses of the ages of 7 and 8 which will see a host of big names in action such as Ludger Beerbaum (Quidam’s Adel), Marcus Ehning (Sakrileg), the youngster Emma Emanuelsson (Benedetto), Maikel van der Vleuten (Charming Edition) and the Italian rider Emanuele Gaudiano (Lyshynsky).
Following that at 11.00 the young riders category are back competing with the second phase of the Kraft Young Rider Cup followed by the final stage of the Future Winners event.
