YOUTH EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS UNDERWAY IN AREZZO

Attention is on the Arezzo Equestrian Centre in Tuscany because the Youth European Championships are underway, where the best youth show jumping talent will perform not only to claim the coveted European title, but also to clinch qualification in the next edition of the Young Riders Academy.
In the field this year there are three representatives who have already participated in the 2014 edition: 18-year-old Irish rider, Allen Bertram, who in the meantime is waiting for a call-up for the WEG in Normandy, as well as the German Kaya Luthi and Swiss Emilie Stampfli.
The final individual rankings in the Junior and Young Rider categories are decisive for qualifying. The best athletes will have the opportunity to be selected for the masters of show jumping, and be followed by five outstanding professors: Ludger Beerbaum, Rolf-Goran Bengtsson, Dietmar Gugler, Gilbert de Roock and Kevin Staut. Among the five young athletes selected for the project last year, in 2014, also included the Italian Emanuele Bianchi, European Young Riders champion, who was followed in his internship by the legendary Ludger Beerbaum.
Yesterday the first competitions for the three categories:
INDIVIDUAL JUNIORS:
The French rider Lalie Saclier with Quebec Un Prince took first place followed by Norwegian Per Ulven on Urlanmore Aldi and 3rd place went to Swiss Emilie Paillot on Robert le Dyable.
