Zangersheide : record average of € 34,333

After a fantastic auction evening on Friday when Con Amore JT Z was hammered off for the top price of € 70,000, audience and buyers were well and truly warmed up for the 36 lots to be auctioned on the Saturday evening. Things really hotted up in the auction hall of the Equestrian Centre de Peelbergen, which resulted in record prices and an absolute record average of a stunning € 34,333! A historic record!
The top price of the evening was for Chacco-Blue daughter Chacana Hero Z, when the hammer of auctioneer Frederik De Backer went down the price for her stood at € 80,000!
Top quality foals from the strongest dam lines in the world, that’s what it was all about and people were willing to pay substantial sums of money! Chelsea DV Z, another Chacco-Blue daughter out of the half sister of Bart Bles’ Kriskras DV sold for € 68,000 and Thor Z, the full brother of Jennifer Gates’ Darry Lou went for € 64,000!
Element O Z, son of Eric Lamaze’s former top mare Rosana du Park realised € 56,000 and Come on du Regor Z, a son of Centa de Muze, was hammered down for € 60,000!
