The Longines Global Champions Tour is back in Shanghai, China, marking the fourth leg of its esteemed 2024 circuit from May 3 to 5. As one of the most anticipated events in the equestrian calendar, the tour brings together top international talent to compete in elite show jumping competitions.

The opening press conference, held today at the newly constructed Shanghai Juss International Equestrian Centre, officially kicked off the competition. This state-of-the-art venue, equipped with a purpose-built stadium, sets the stage for three days of thrilling equestrian action. Jack Xie, Brand Manager of Longines China, expressed excitement about the tour’s return, hailing it as the premier equestrian event in China.

Wang Shuwei, Duty General Manager of Shanghai Juss Sports Development Group, highlighted the significance of Shanghai hosting such a prestigious event in a world-class facility. The Shanghai Juss International Equestrian Centre, situated in the heart of Shanghai’s EXPO Cultural Park, is China’s first permanent professional equestrian venue. Boasting amenities like live broadcasting centers, horse clinics, permanent stables, and the International Horse Art Centre, the venue exemplifies Shanghai’s commitment to becoming a top international sports city.
