The Rome Gladiators, powered by ClipMyHorse.TV, are the next team to unveil their formidable lineup for the 2024 GCL team series, featuring four significant new signings poised to make a monumental impact on the circuit. The Rome Gladiators’ team owners and managers have been exceptionally busy in the off-season as they manage to recruit three key riders from other teams. Securing two podiums last year and a top 8 finish in the overall ranking can they climb higher this season?

Nina Mallevaey (FRA) [U25], crowned U25 of the season last year is renowned as one of the most impressive talents in the under-25 category and, continues her journey with the team, showcasing her exceptional skills and dedication yet again this year.

While Michael Duffy (IRL) also returns for his second year with the squad, Duffy’s great performances last season has positioned him as a pivotal asset, poised to deliver yet again for the Rome Gladiators.

Joining the Rome Gladiators are four stellar additions:

Laura Kraut (USA): Hailing from Madrid In Motion and a previous member of the Rome Gladiators a few years ago, Olympic Champion Kraut brings a wealth of experience and talent, promising to make waves in the iconic green jacket as she dons the colors of the Rome Gladiators.

Lorenzo De Luca (ITA): Trading over from Stockholm Hearts, De Luca, an Italian rider, is anticipated to become a fan favorite as local rider from Italy, bringing his unique flair and expertise to bolster the Rome team’s ranks.

Marco Kutscher (GER): Making his return to the GCL circuit after a short hiatus, Kutscher’s seasoned experience and knack for optimising team performance make him a valuable addition to the Rome Gladiators roster.

Richard Howley (IRL): In a monumental move within the GCL realm, Howley transitions from the Scandinavian Vikings to the Rome Gladiators, bringing with him an unparalleled level of horsepower, poised to lead the charge for his new team.

With this formidable lineup, the Rome Gladiators are primed to dominate the 2024 GCL season. Could they win their first-ever GCL Championship? Stay tuned to find out…

The GCL season kicks off in just over two weeks where the 2024 showdown will commence in Doha Qatar from 29 Feb – 2 March.
